MAKING OF

We chose this topic in order to follow our web aim topic and because it is interesting to know a bit more about a social network that almost all the people use everyday.
First, we searched all the information to know with whom could be interesting to contact.
Then, we contact with 8 people that knew or worked on Instagram or social networks.
We also contacted people who wrote and knew a lot about Instagram’s algorithm and censure politics.
Only 2 of 8 people from the ones we first try to contact with, answered us.
After insisting, 2 more people answered
Finally we decided to send messages through instagram and whatsap because we thought it would be easier for them to answer us, but only one person answered. 3 days later they answered us and we were able to put the 4 personal sources
In order to know how much people knew about Instagram’s algorithm we made a questionnaire for asking randomly selected people some questions for knowing how much are they merged in the topic.
We move to the center of Bilbao to conduct the interviews. We tried to talk to people of different ages but we found that most of adults did not control as much as young people. These are the questions that we formulated to ask them.
